Saint Mary’s Cathedral 20-Year Organ Dedicatory Concerts

Saint Mary’s Concert Series Committee has contracted with two renowned organists to help celebrate the 20th year Anniversary of the installation of the Visser-Rowland Pipe Organ at Saint Mary’s Cathedral. Organist Christopher Stroh from the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis, MN will present a program on Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 pm. Dr. Alison J. Luedecke, who was the Director of Music Ministries and Principal Organist at St.Mary’s at the time of the installation of new organ in 1992, will return to Cheyenne for a performance on Friday, April 27, at 7:00 pm. She will be Accompanied by a brass ensemble from the Cheyenne Symphony. Sr. Luedecke is currently the Associate Organist at St. James by the Sea Episcopal Church in La Jolla, CA. The artists, Pastor Father Gary Ruzicka, the Organ Concert Series Committee, and members of the parish invite the Cheyenne community to hear these performances on the exquisite tracker pipe organ in St. Mary’s Cathedral.
