Lets show our pride for St. Joseph’s Church by making the Weekend for Life one to remember.
Weekend for Life in Cheyenne will begin on Friday evening, January 20, 2012 (6:30 p.m.), with the Right to Life Banquet at the Kiwanis Community House. On Saturday morning, Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Mary at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Etienne presiding. Breakfast will be provided in Hartmann Hall following Mass. The pre-march program at the Depot will Begin at 11:00 A.M. and the March to the Capitol begins at 12:00 noon. Lunch will follow the March at the Knights of Columbus Hall. If you can’t make all of these events then please try to make the March for life at 12:00 noon. Let’s have the best showing for Catholics ever. January 16 – Martin Luther King Day is a federal holiday held on the third Monday of January. It celebrates the life and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the influential American civil rights leader. He is most well-known for heading the civil rights campaigns to end racial segregation, for racial equality in the United States, and for peace. January 21 — The March for Life is an annual rally protesting abortion, held in January in the United States due to the Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade that opened the door to the slaughtering of unborn children. The overall goal of the march is to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision.
